PROJECT 1-AUDIO EDITING 

For this task, we are divided into groups of 4 people, and the four of us must looking for a suitable sound for the audio dubbing of the film 'Everything Everywhere All at Once'. Then, for the dialogue, we have to record it using our own voices.

Here are the sound effects:

1.First i downloaded all of the sound effects and record my own voices for the dialogue

2.After downloading all of it, i imported all of the audios and videos to Adobe Premiere Pro

2.I arranged the audios based on the video and also added sound effects and arranged it

3.I adjust my voice for the male voice using effect controls

4.Lastly, i adjust the volume for each of the audios.

At class, Mr.Martin gave me feedback for my audio dubbing and he said that the sound for the first ambience is too low, so i should find other sound. Moreover, he also said that i need to add fade in and fade out for the ambience. Here is the final outcome.

PROJECT 1-AUDIO EDITING: SOUND SHAPPING WITH EQ

For this project, we have to record our voice for 10 seconds using our first language. After that we must download adobe audition and import our audio to the application. 

We must make these 4-sound effects:

First, i import my audio to adobe audition and then i created the multitrack session for each of the sounds. 

1.Voice of phone call

For this voice, i followed the tutorial provided by Mr.Martin on the google slide. I used parametic equalizer to create the voice.

REFLECTION

Experience

I gained a lot of new experiences, especially in editing sound into various types of sounds. I also gained new experiences and improve my skills using a new application, namely Adobe Audition. In addition, I learned how to do dubbing by looking at many references and searching for sound effects for a film, which turned out to be very enjoyable.

Observation

After I completed the dubbing project, I realized that dubbing is actually not difficult but requires intonation to truly depict the original situation in the film. As for sound shaping, I also think it's not too difficult but it does take a considerable amount of time because it needs to be listened to and ensured to be good multiple times.

Findings

For me, in video or film editing, finding references is important to give us an idea before starting the editing and can also help us improve our editing skills.
