Week 1-Introduction to photography and digital imaging 

• Why we need to learn photoshop?

-Necessary for visual styles, website design, or individual experience function

-Graphic style and digital photography are one of the mose typical 

• The importance of photoshop for graphic designer

-Digital imaging converts the printed text, artwork, and photographs, into digital images using a digital scanner or another imaging device

-Digital imaging technique and purpose:

1.Removing details ("retouching"):to improve appearance (remove wrinkles, slim down) or remove distracting or unwanted elements 

2.Inserting details:Change facial features, add color to skin, add elements to a scene in order to change the tone of a photograph  

3.Photomontage: to pair images to suggest a relationship or create an entirely new image with composite meaning

4.False captioning:Context of what a photograph purportedly portrays is falsified to distort the meaning

Description:  When i first saw this poster, i was amazed by the illustration, it is very pretty and also i can immediately understand the meaning of the poster.Not only understand, i also can imagine that kind of situation.I like all of the combination colors that was used to make that poster.It made the poster became so realistic. This poster expressed: The building and the dark sky show that it is night, however the animal, nature, and the bright sky show that it is still morning. The situation was divided into two, which means it is the same place, but different moments and times.

Description: I was extremely surprised because of  the illustration.I can immediately know about the product and where is it from.The illustration perfectly describe the products.The illustration is very captivating and has the perfect color selection.It feels very refreshing because of the nature illustration, therefore many people will be interested to buy that. This poster expressed: The illustration is for the brand that called evian (mineral water) The theme of the poster is natural spring water The concept is “a fresh mineral water from the nature” The mountain, birds, and sea are the elements that describe nature It shows that the sea is very clean and blue, both the bird and also the mountain, which means that it is very refreshing because it is from the nature. The dominant blue color demonstrates that it is a water.

Description: I was amazed by the design and i believe that everybody (including me) can understand the meaning of this design.It is a simple design but the perfect elements and color made it become a perfect design. This poster expressed: The illustration is about someone who smoke  The skull means that when you smoke, you probably can end your life and become a skull The red paper illustrates the fire that came from the smoke. The concept is “the dangerous of smoking” The black and dark color represent the smoke and also the danger of smoking really well

Description: When I first saw this poster, I was impressed by the illustration, which also expresses the message. This Poster expressed :  This illustration is for 5 Corporation’s “5 Days,” a private preparatory school in Japan. The theme of this time is "Summer Special Training". The concept is "Let's enjoy and study during the summer". Create ‘5’ island and ‘5’ is the symbol of this corporation. It shows children are studying by themselves.
