Week 3 - Introduction to photoshop 2 

• Lasso tool, pen tool, and layering 

• Selection, layering

• Tool box

• Marque selection tools

• Lasso tool

-It allows you to draw and pinpoints specific areas of a document 

-When you click lasso tool from toolbar, you will see three different options:

1.Lasso

2.Polygonal lasso

3.Magnetic lasso 

-Lasso tool is great to use with a graphic tablet because it is similar to a pencil 

• Pen tool

-Is the common option when it comes to creating a path from a scratch

-Variation of pen tool:

1.Straight line paths

2.U shaped curves 

3.Simple S curves 

4.Complex S curves 

• Lasso tool vs pen tool 

-Pen tool is versatile and can be used to create extremely precise shapes and paths, using manually placed anchor points

-The pen tool was not natively made as a "selection tool"

• Layering

-Layers are different images stacked on top of each other 

-You can use layers for non-destructive editing, so it will never destroy the original image

3. Create 3 different composition digital collages from the images that you’ve downloaded.

4. Create A4 canvas size  (vertical) on Photoshop and start to do the compositions.

5. Take 3 photo of your digital collage compositions  and insert it on the section below

6. Submit (Turn In) this file in Google Classroom

3.PRACTICAL-DIGITAL COMPOSING COLLAGE

COURSE: Bachelor of design (honours) in creative media 

GROUP: 2

1. COMPOSITION #1

For the first design, i wanted to make a design that tells a story about an old man who look at his own

bright and beautiful future in the sky and he is standing at the city with a lot of crowds, buildings.I used

ocal point for this design.I also used some colors for this design

2. COMPOSITION #2

For the second collage, i wanted to make a collage with quite a lot of elements and it is about 2 people

who are watching the beautiful scenery at their city.

3. COMPOSITION #3

For the third design, i made it a little bit random but still looks good and can be an eye-catching design.Therefore i played with the colors and used some colorful elements for this collage.
