1.LECTURE

WEEK 5-DOUBLE EXPOSURE 

• Double exposure and image blending mode 

-Double exposure refers to merging multiple images.The goal is to make the surreal, emotional, and humorous. They usually feature silhouettes 

• Tilt-shift effect

-If you want to be creative, blur one of your photos instead of the entire image or blur everyhting except for one important detail 

-To add this filter, go to filter > blur gallery > tilt shift 

• Fake reflection

-One of the way to create fake reflection is by creating a double exposure with the help of a separate window photo

• Experiment with simple portraits and detailed textured 

-Combining something plain and something complicated will give you a balanced result.It will also save a lot of simple photos that you might discard 

• Convert your results to black and white 

-A lack of color will strengthen the emotion for double-exposure images 

• Work with silhouette 

-It will give you a fun and doable challenge 

• Pick two random photo 

-Random process might create a story of their own

• Make simple objects look fascinating 

-Try to make the usual photo that you take to something else 

-Example : a silhouette of a dull looking building could become the outline of a starry sky like the photo below

-Shadows are as effective as silhouette

3.PRACTICAL

FIRST TASK: we must download the shazam and also hearst mansion picture, then we use quick selection tool to substract background.After that we copy paste the picture into the background, adjust the color, brightness, shadow, gaussian blur, reflection, and other more.We must adjust it until it suits the background.

SECOND TASK: For the second task, we must use our own picture with an eye-level and we must do the same like task 1.Crop then edit our picture and adjust it until it looks real.
