REFLECTION

Experience
After learning about typography, i got a lot of new experiences. Now i know how to create a type expression.It's good that simple but meaningful, so when people look at it they immediately know about the meaning.I also learnt how to make an animation for word using adobe photoshop and create it one by one.Moreover, i also learnt that a good designer adjust the spacing of each letters and also words by using kerning, tracking, and also leading.These can be done using InDesign.Furthermore, not only creating type expression using the font that was given, i also can learnt how to make my own font using different kinds of writing styles.I also learnt how to use a new software (FontLab) where i can export my file and it can be downloaded and used in other software.

I learnt important tools in adobe illustrator and also adobe photoshop.Now i know each tools function and also i know the fast trick to make something using the photoshop and illustrator tools.

Observation
After some observations during typography class, now i know that typography is very important because different fonts can express different feelings.Each font has it own characteristic.Almost all designer use typography for their design.I realized that professional designer use different ways to create the perfect design.Throughout the semester, i realized that creating and choosing a font is quite complicated because we need to think about it, the size should be the same, we should adjust the kerning, etc.However, when i finally can make my own font, i was so happy.

Findings 
For me, when we create a font and also do the kerning, we must make sure that it has already correct.I learnt that one small mistakes can affect the final outcome.Moreover, if we want to improve our work, we need to do our own research about typography and get a lot of knowledge from our own research.
