REFLECTION
Experience
Through these tasks, I gained valuable knowledge about typography, how to create a good font, and brand identity. I learned how to design a consistent and meaningful font using grids and reference heights, and how to use Font Forge despite initial challenges. I also explored typographic systems, wordmark design, and creative Instagram feeds, understanding the importance of color contrast in visual identity.
Observation
Through all the tasks I have completed, I realized that creating a font requires precise consistency, which must be done using a grid. In addition, color plays an important role in conveying the meaning or message behind the font. Choosing colors should involve using contrasting ones so that all words are clearly readable. I also realized that the way we present our font and brand identity is very important and should be engaging.
Findings
After doing all of these tasks, i found that observation, reference, and feedback are key to improving creativity and design quality.
